An answer to a pamphlet entitled An apology for, or, vindication of the oppressed persecuted ministers and professors of Presbyterian reformed religion in the Church of Scotland, 1677 [manuscript], ca. 1680.

A modern note in the volume attributes the pamphlet to John Brown of Wamphray; attributed also to Alexander Jamieson (by British Museum Catalogs) and to Hugh Smith, assisted by Jamieson (by Halkett and Laing). The manuscript supports episcopacy against the charges of the pamphleteer.
